As you know that I was unable to try The Missing Pan the other day. :(
Decided to go to a cafe on a Sunday afternoon so I gave TMP a try!
Ordered the french toast that was much raved about, truffle fries (not on the menu), iced mocha and iced chocolate.
Let us talk about the drinks first!
Ice chocolate, according to my husband it is good but not that fantastic! He usually order ice chocolate in cafes because he is not a coffee drinker! I had iced mocha because I love both chocolate and coffee! TMP Iced mocha taste yucky, based on the day I visited. The coffee is diluted. So I guess that spoilt the drink. Best iced mocha I had thus far is at The Plain and Beviamo.
Truffle fries
Very well deep fried fries! Absolutely yummy. The truffle taste is not on every fries. But it is really a good serving of fries. Drizzled with truffle oil. Key word: Drizzled. Still Yums!
French Toast
A very unique dish, French toast with spinach and chicken inside. Something new that you can try. An interesting dish with not-too-bad taste. But I'm sorry TMP, I will not visit it for a 2nd time... Probably, this is not to my liking but you guys can go and give it a try, Spinach and chicken in a french toast is pretty interesting!
Beverage plays a very important role in my meals. If the beverage is good, and dishes are bad, at least I will go back and try another dish! But... yea. =/ I was quite disappointed that day.
